SEM PTSA is asking for gently used clothing to be donated for a fundraiser. Help the PTSA raise funds to provide meals for teachers, test-time snacks for students, funding for student clubs, and much more! Just clear out all your old clothing and bring int to the school--isn't that much better than selling wrapping paper or cookie dough? Ask family and friends to donate too! Clothes may be dropped off at the school November 17-26th.
Please help us build the Jerry Nguyen memorial!
We are paying tribute to SEM student Jerry Nguyen (class of 2016) who passed a year ago on Nov 12, 2013 in an accident as he crossed the street on his way to take the bus to school. Jerry brought joy to all who were fortunate enough to know him; his winning smile and friendly ways were a blessing. Jerry was a joy in the classroom and a wonderful example of the best of his generation. He was a gift in every way.
Please help us build the Jerry Nguyen memorial! SEM parents Carlos and Monina Avalos have graciously led this memorial project. They have received school approval to build the memorial and have almost finished construction!
The volunteers have almost finished construction, but we need more help paying for it. Please use this online form to make a donation, or send a check to the SEM office.
Thank you so much for your support!
