Ms Huitt will also be holding a Freshman-Senior Parent meeting full of very important information about your student's school career! All families are expected to attend.
The PTSA is providing pasta from Buca de Beppo. We are asking for donations of a dessert, which can be brought to the meeting, or dropped off beforehand in room 211 .

Yearbook Order Deadline Extended
You may still purchase a yearbook - until supply runs out! Please use the online form (click here) OR there was a paper order form which was recently sent home with students which can be dropped off . There are also a very limited number of yearbooks from last year which can only be ordered online or by contacting Marianne Leclerc, the volunteer parent who has done such a great job mentoring the yearbook! The price is $35 for this year's book (online will include PayPal l fee), and $30 for last year's book (online will include PayPal fee). Students just pay in the envelopes sent home by dropping them in the PTSA lock box in the office.
Great gift idea for students from out-of-town family! Graduation, Birthdays, or just "Way to Work!" - end of the year gift
Please consider sending a contribution toward a yearbook for a student who otherwise could not afford to purchase one.
Please make checks out to SEM PTSA.
The Yearbook signing party is planned for May 15 after school, on the last day of AP exams. The yearbook committee is meeting today, April 6 after school to plan this party which will last til 9pm. Don't miss out on this fun party, only yearbook owners may attend.

Help Mr. Carter build a better classroom:
Hi SEM Community, I want to make sure my students have the materials they need to succeed, so I just created a request for my classroom at DonorsChoose.org: I have a grant request out for the Physics 1 and 2 students for next year to get SD cards for their laptops.
Give to my classroom by April 7, 2015 and your donation will be doubled thanks to DonorsChoose.org. Just enter the code SPARK on the payment page and you'll be matched dollar for dollar (up to $100).
If you chip in to help my students, you'll get awesome photos and our heartfelt thanks.
Thanks so much, Mr. Carter
P.S. If you know anyone who may want to help my classroom, please pass this along!

From Texas PTA:
One of your high school seniors, Isaiah Mercado, has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship from Texas PTA!
