Volunteer Hours Opportunity
We have a great opportunity for students to earn a few volunteer hours coming up on Saturday, December 12.
In the holiday spirit, an anonymous donor generously purchased classroom literacy resources for 234 K-12 literacy teachers in 17 Dallas ISD schools. On Sat., Dec 12 we’re hosting a gift wrapping party so teachers and students arrive at their classrooms the following Monday with this wonderful surprise waiting at their doors. Our gift wrapping party will include music, snacks, and lots of holiday cheer!
The PTSA at SEM thinks fundraising should be painless! That's why we like the Write-a-Check Campaign because you only have to write one check and you're done! There’s no selling involved and 100% of every dollar supports SEM students. Your donation is used to provide special programs, activities and events to support the academic and social needs of our students and staff. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today! Please use our on-line form to indicate the amount of your donation and proceed to checkout.
Also, another way to increase contributions may be through company matching donations. Does your company match donations? If so, enter "yes". We can provide assistance, if needed, in making the application to your employer:
Schoola Resale Clothing Fundraiser
Our Schoola clothes fundraising drive is in full swing.
This fundraiser will help clean our closets of clothes we’ve outgrown and support our children at the same time! Schoola collects gently used adult, teen and children’s clothes and sells them online. We’ll receive 40% of the profits which helps to fund programs SEM programs.
You can help by donating clean clothing in, new or like new condition and place them in the bin which will be located in front of the SEM office. You can also help spread the word, encouraging others to donate!
Thanks for your support! We look forward to another great year!
