Schoola Resale Clothing Fundraiser
Cleaning out your closets for the summer?
Graduates... cleaning out your closets in preparation to go off to college?
Well... please support SEM by bringing your clothes to school next week and we'll send them off to "Schoola" who will sell them for us and give us back 40% of the profits to help fund programs at SEM.
You can help by donating clean clothing in, new or like new condition and place them in the bin which will be located in front of the SEM office. You can also help spread the word, encouraging others to donate!
Thanks for your support! We look forward to another great year!
Junior High and High School students interested in registering to be a participant at the first EYL Camp in Texarkana, can visit the Extreme Youth Leadership website at http://www.extremeyouthleadership.org and click on Camps.
Target your community service with an internship with The Shoulders of Giants non-profit organization. As an intern, you would be actively engaged in a level of research in the lab. They are a research hub as well as a teaching lab, and our scientists submit for publications/conferences/journals etc. This program is designed to develop your skills so you will become useful as a researcher.
It takes a very special applicant to engage as an high school intern. They require a 3.8 GPA or higher. The student must submit a letter of intent, transcripts, resume and interview with Dr. Foland.
All interns are part of the Mentorship program classes (perhaps $45, but price is not set for Fall yet) and will receive a reduced for the program.
