MIT Summer Experience
The online application for our national science and engineering programs is now open for Summer 2018! Submit your application at summerapp.mit.edu by February 1, 2018 (7:59 pm EST) in order to be considered.
Check out the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) page to find out more information about our 2018 program offerings, and our Application Checklist to learn more about how to apply.
Who can apply?
Students must currently be in the 11th grade in order to apply. Also, at this time, OEOP programs are limited to U.S. citizens or U.S. permanent residents. Students who complete their application and who are successful in our highly competitive selection process generally excel in math and science and have a strong academic record.
Program costs are generously covered by our funders. Admitted students only pay for transportation to and from MIT.
The deadline to apply for Summer 2018 is February 1, 2018. Each student has the option to be considered for admission into either of our two programs:
Students in this innovative online program discuss research, receive admissions and financial aid advice, and attend webinars. They also complete online science and engineering projects that they present during a five-day summer conference on MIT's campus.
Jumpstart your future in science and engineering at MIT!
The district has implemented an online store, RevTrak! Parents and students can visit the link, https://dallasisd.revtrak.net/ where purchases can be made for permanent badges, lost textbook, laptop rental, locker rental, temporary badges, parking fee, and donations. In addition to the online store, we also have a card reader at our front desk. Coming soon there will be options for seniors to pay for Prom and Senior Assembly (picnic).
Nominate a Teacher as a Mavs Classroom Champion!
