The first yearbook meeting will be Monday Sept 9th after school in Dr. Chapman's room (downstairs by the cafeteria).
Students staying late will be given bus passes if they need to ride the activity bus. If not, the meeting will be over at 5pm for parent pick up.
We will show everyone how to use the yearbook software (internet based so they can design pages and create spreads at home) and assign pages to yearbook staff.
Freshman Editor Search:
The yearbook is looking for a freshman editor who is outgoing and enjoys working on the computer. If you are a parent of a freshman and your child is interested, please have them email Harryfeldman@live.com.
The 3 upper class editors will select a freshman who they feel will work well with them. They would like to find this person before the 1st yearbook meeting... so don't delay in contacting Harry.
The yearbook is increasing by 18 pages and will include class photos for every grade level. We are also considering having a contest for front cover art work rather than using a stock design. Look for more information on that following the meeting!
The yearbook cost will be $30 and may be pre-ordered and paid for online this year. So... when the grandparents or aunts/uncles ask what your child wants for Christmas... why not point them to our yearbook and spirit gear? Both are on-line and great for gift-giving from out-of-towners!
Looking forward to a great year and to our returning editors... Harry, Thao, Andy and the rest of our hard-working yearbook committee!
Thanks for all you do!
What can you do online?
